ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jonathan! I'm a 20 year old senior at Brown University studying Computer Science.

I am a Teaching Assistant for Brown's Database Management course (CSCI 1270) and graduate seminar on Databases for Artificial Intelligence (CSCI 2270).

I am a former intern at InterSystems where I worked on finetuning language models to generate good ObjectScript code, as well as developing a set of RAG-based templates for IRIS developers to easily integrate RAG, GraphRAG, ColBERT, and more into their data platforms.

I have previously worked as a Researcher for the Database Group at Brown, where I researched semantic caching for LLMs, vector data in streaming settings, and optimizations for streaming vector systems through binary quantization.

I am passionate about Jesus, Chinese Pop music, Teamfight Tactics, running, the Seattle Seahawks, and talking to new people, so feel free to reach out to me. 😎

ACADEMICS

I love learning about Database Management Systems, with a focus in the intersection of artificial intelligence and databases. More broadly, I enjoy Software Engineering and Systems Programming.

In the humanities field, I am interested in the Philosophy of Personal Happiness through a religious and anthropological lens.
